Community & Charity

As we go about our work, designing and delivering new offices for our clients, it’s important that we remember not everyone is as fortunate in health and security as we are. Here at Loop, our in-house Community Committee looks at ways that we can support some wonderful charities that are out there tirelessly working to make the world a safer and happier place for vulnerable and in-need adults and children.

You’ll hear us talking about our “Loop Family” – it is something we genuinely take pride in. As much as we want to give back to the wider community we also want to invest in our own ‘workplace community’ and build an environment where everyone can thrive.

Please take a look here at what we have got up to recently…

Sushi & Nails – Networking Event

25/08/23 – Alice Eamey, Loop’s Client Development Manager, hosted a fantastic event to support women in the Real Estate and Construction business – a great initiative and a supportive and fun night over nails and sushi to network and share ideas and experiences.

Luke’s Charity Triathlon

06/08/23 – Luke Fowler, one of Loop’s Project Directors, took part in the Cowman Stampede, an epic middle-distance triathlon in support of the Little Havens Children’s Hospice – an amazing organisation undertaking life-changing work.

‘I absolutely loved the experience of training and racing my first triathlon. The race was much hillier (and muddier) than expected on the day but I’m incredibly proud to have raised almost £2,000 for Little Havens and support the great work they do week on week.’

Paras 10

27/05/23 – A brilliant Loop team took part in the PARAS’ 10 ultimate endurance race, raising money for Help for Children. The months of training they put in served them well on the day and despite scorching temperatures they all completed this physically demanding race in fantastic times.

Help for Children is an inspiring charity raising much-needed funds to combat child maltreatment in multiple locations across the globe. Funds raised in each HFC location are granted out locally within that community. HFC has a local impact with a global footprint. As they put it themselves, this is “The HFC DIFFERENCE”.

It is with great pleasure that we get to share with you these amazing before and after shots of the DIY SOS Style refurbishment Loop have now COMPLETED for Little Havens Children’s Hospice.

It was 18 months in the planning and 4 weeks on site.  The value of the project is in the region of £200,000 and was totally free of charge to the Hospice.  Team Loop stepped up and delivered this lovely design sensitively and expertly. However, the refurbishment was really made possible due to the generosity of a lot of our suppliers and trades.

A special mention to the Charities Committee; Rachael for the inception, Claire Ambrose, for frankly, making it happen, Dilara and Jaya for amazing design, Keith for speccing and Clark who literally lived on site for 4 weeks!!

Thank you to all those involved, who offered their time, money, and resources to make this incredibly important project happen.
